APPEAL: 2022 Monsoon Floods To Support Emergency Relief Response in Flood Affected Areas of Sindh Twenty-Three districts have been officially been declared to be ‘Calamity Hit’ by the Government of Sindh. The humanitarian situation in Sindh province has deteriorated further over the past two weeks as heavy rains continue to cause flooding resulting in displacement and damage across the province. The adverse weather conditions have incurred significant human and livestock casualties and widespread damage to private homes and public infrastructure, especially in Sindh provinces. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reports some 33-million people in Pakistan being affected. As of 30 August, 2022.
